Hello there! My name is Kathryn Walter (Katie) originally from Des Moines, Iowa. After graduating from Iowa State University with a double major in apparel merchandising and design and international studies in 2014, I embarked for the next year to explore Latin America and travel to Germany to learn the language. This love of education abroad was sparked from early experiences of traveling to Germany twice during high school and followed by a semester abroad in Spain during my undergraduate years. 

In the fall of 2015, I began my Masters Degree at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey in International Education Management, where I have done professional consulting work and have grown my interests in international education. My passions include curriculum and program design, education abroad, and language travel abroad. I am about engaging people of all ages to explore and learn about the world.
